Recommendations are for planning purposes only and do not replace pesticide labels. Always read and follow the label before applying any pesticide. Registrations vary by state.
Apple, peach, and cherry recommendations are sourced from the New England Tree Fruit Management Guide (UMass, UVM & UMaine Extension) and interpreted using AI. Blueberry recommendations are sourced from the Rutgers E265 guide. Always consult the original guide and your local extension service.

Total product applied by date range, broken down by block.

How usage is calculated: Pomona uses the most accurate data available for each application — in order of priority: (1) actual gallons applied, (2) specified partial acres, (3) block acreage adjusted for alt-row middles. Strip herbicide rates are adjusted by strip fraction. Totals are only as accurate as the data entered. If gallons applied or partial acres are not recorded, Pomona estimates from block acreage.

Varieties

Add varieties per crop (e.g. Apple β†’ Honeycrisp)

Species

What you graze. Each species has a default rest period that animal groups inherit.

Animal Groups

Named flocks/herds you actually rotate. Each group is one species.
Save product recipes for quick selection when creating spray jobs.
Add your sprayers with tank size. These are combined with tractors when creating equipment combos.

Tractors

Add your tractors and their gear configurations (with MPH for each gear). These are used when creating equipment combos.

Equipment Combos

Pre-save your equipment configurations (tractor + gear + sprayer + nozzle + GPA + PSI + row width) for quick selection.

Wizard guides you through four steps. Legacy is one long form — faster if you spray often.

Operation Type

Choose what kind of operation you run. Grazing mode adds animal groups, grazing rotation tracking, and rest-period countdowns to the map.

Data Sharing

Share trap data anonymously
Contributes to regional pest monitoring. No farm names or identity shared β€” state only.

Block Coloring

Choose how blocks are filled on the map. Crop gives every apple block one color, every peach block another β€” good for seeing your orchard by fruit type. Variety gives each variety its own color (strains of the same variety share it), so you can tell Honeycrisp from Gala at a glance. You can also switch this from the map itself. Best for orchards mapped one variety per block β€” a block with several varieties is shown in its primary variety’s color only.
